Haha Yes, that title is correct! Dehydration is one of the main causes of fatigue, fogginess, even headaches! Even the people that THINK they drink plenty of water could be at risk. How can that possibly be do you ask? Because a lot of the water we buy is DON-DON-DON….. Purified!! Is that bad?
Well, perhaps from the source the water is coming from its an absolute necessity that it is purified. The purpose of purifying water is that it kills bacteria, viruses, parasites, can remove heavy metals and other physical contaminants. The downfall to this is that in the process we lose minerals. Plus, don’t forget anytime bad bacteria is killed then so is the good. These important factors that a stripped during the purifying process is what helps make our body absorb it. So, LETS ADD SOME BACK IN!
You can easily do so by adding just a touch of Himalayan Sea Salt – it doesn’t take much.
Well I eat food that i spice with sea salt, does that count? In my opinion, No. When you’re eating you are asking your body of different process and although your body is a great multitask-er, quit pushing the limits. Besides you really shouldn’t be consuming much of anything during a meal if you want digestion to do its thing. (We can talk about that another time!)
You can also add fresh Lemon to you water. Oh yum! Lemons are little nutrition bombs. Their is a reason that most every cleanse out there including the Master Cleanse uses Lemon as a key ingredient.
